Description
Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) is issuing a Request for Bid to procure Flood Barrier Systems. The procurement of flooding barrier equipment is to better protect Northern Ontarians during Floods. The flooding equipment must easy to install (no special skill or training required), have the flexibility in configuration, be made of heavy gauge polyvinyl chloride (PVC) reinforced to reduce repairs.
The equipment must be:
-Easy to repair.
-Must be deployable in hours and ease in emptying and removal.
-Must come in various heights from 2’ to 8’. Lengths of barriers can be either 50’ or 100’ in lengths.
-Must be able to be moved and stored on standard 40’ x 48” pallets.

The Ministry is looking to procure 1 Kilometer of flood barriers (composed of equal and various sizes).For example 250 Meters of 2’ + 250 Meters of 4’ + 250 Meters of 6’ + 250 Meters of 8’ (or equivalent sizes).

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 6 month(s).
