The Ministry of Natural Resources is issuing a Request for Bids (RFB) for targeted photointerpretation services to support Forest Resources Inventories (FRI) that are currently in preparation for six (6) management units in Ontario: Gordon Cosens, Sudbury, Spanish, Northshore, Caribou, and Algoma forests (see map: https://www.ontario.ca/page/management-units-and-forest-management-plan-renewal-schedules).
The services require qualified Vendor(s) to deliver accurate and consistent geospatial updates to forest inventories by interpreting targeted changes and ensuring all edits comply with provincial standards.
The RFB is purposely intended to potentially result in several contracts with multiple different bidders in order to maximize the number of management units serviced. The minimum bid is one (1) management unit.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 7 month(s).
