Description
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) is a provincial Crown agency that reports to the Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG). The AGCO is responsible for regulating the alcohol, cannabis, gaming (land-based and online) and horse racing sectors in Ontario. More information can be found at https://www.agco.ca/about-us as well in other pages in the “About the AGCO” menu.
To support the AGCO’s strategic goals, the Vendor must ensure that a rational and consistent approach for determining the pay of employees is applied through job evaluation and pay equity. This process allows for an equitable and defensible compensation structure that compensates employees fairly for job value.
Attraction and retention of skilled staff would be challenging to maintain without compensation that is competitive with the external market. Therefore, the AGCO is also seeking a specialist to provide compensation consulting to assist with evaluating the AGCO’s jobs against the external market from time-to-time to ensure competitiveness.
The contract will be for a period of two (2) years with three (3) options to extend. Three (3) extensions of one (1) year each.
