Description
RFB to implement a Boreal Caribou monitoring program in Ontario by undertaking distance sampling aerial surveys and demographic classifications to produce population estimates for each of the thirteen (13) continuous Ranges and demographic classifications and collaring of adult females in eight (8) priority Ranges to determine population trend for those Ranges. An integral part of implementation of the monitoring program includes providing opportunities for local Indigenous communities to participate in the monitoring activities as well as share Indigenous traditional and community knowledge.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 24 month(s).
