Currently, Ministry possesses more than 200 pieces of occupational hygiene monitoring equipment. To date, Ministry instruments/equipment have been calibrated, maintained, and repaired either by the respective equipment manufacturer or by a single source service provider. Ministry is initiating the “Occupational Hygiene Equipment Purchase, Calibration, Repair and Maintenance Service” to transform the current process from a single source into an open/competitive procurement.
Ministry requests Vendor the following:
1. Calibration, Repair and Maintenance service for a variety of Occupational Hygiene (indoor air quality, heat stress, anemometers, single/multi gas monitors, formaldemeters, organic compounds monitors, particulate monitors and primary calibrators) equipment and any other instruments purchased by the Ministry
2. Assist Ministry during purchase of new Occupational Hygiene equipment and accessories (including equipment calibration standards).
Ministry also requires the following: Acknowledge receipt of equipment when request for service is submitted; notify the Ministry detailing instrument malfunction (s) and getting an Approval is required prior to proceeding to repair of an instrument; expected Routine Calibration Turn Around Time (for In-House Service) – 6 weeks after receipt of the equipment. Longer (up to 9 weeks) if equipment is sent off-site (to the manufacturer) for service; furnishing Certificate of Calibration bearing the details of the job done on the instrument including the appropriate standards followed; reporting of accuracy, precision and bias; physical inspection findings, where and when the calibration was conducted and other pre/post calibration findings; providing details of human, material resources available to meet service expectations and staff accreditation/credentials showing technical competency and/or certification achieved and invoice promptly upon service completion and knowledge/experience in equipment maintenance.

Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 24 month(s).
