    Description

    The project includes a wide variety of infrastructure upgrades due to the age of the existing 750mm MCC watermain. Below is a summary of the installation, repair and replacement under this Contract including but not limited:

    • Seven (7) Line Stops
    • Two (2) flow meter replacements including HA72-7 and HA72-11 Valve Chamber Repair/replacement.
    • Approximately 34m of 400mm and 34m of 600mm diameter of CPP watermains trenchless crossing installation in a single 1800mm I.D. steel casing pipe.
    • Approximately 254m of 600mm and 205m of 400mm diameter CPP watermain open-cut (including the Tomken and Britannia intersection)
    • Tomken 20 362 interconnection, 21 584 interconnections/chamber replacement, 21 453, 21 993, 22 615, 0 200 (79169-D), 0 114 (79169-D), 0 120 (79170-D), 0 181 (79170-D) Hydrant, 21 832/21 856, 22 013 PVC installation, 22 544, 20 451 Gate Valve, 22 660 Interconnection and Valve Chamber replacement.
    • HA69-3, HA69-4, HA72-6, HA72-8, 2053472, 6600700, 2054075, 2053460, 2053892, 2053428, 2053926, 2053419 and 2051119 Valve/Pipe Repair/replacement
    • Miscellaneous items: 2053473/2057931v/205811/205813V Valve Chamber Abandonment, 100mm PVC WM bypass, Valve Chamber 2053421/2053419 Condition Assessment Access Points, various location Hydrants installations, Hydrants removal and as indicated in the contract drawings.
