Services and Housing In the Province (SHIP)’s mission is to support those with mental health and addiction challenges to increase their quality of life and live to their full potential through safe, affordable and supportive community based housing and services.
Services and Housing In the Province (SHIP) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a consultant to assist with the development of an organizational Growth Strategy for SHIP. The growth strategy framework will be future focused and will give the organization a systematic approach to develop the organization at the right pace and place. It will lay out identified growth objectives, appropriate strategies, resources and infrastructure required and a roadmap for sustainable operations and implementation. This framework will help position SHIP to respond to the current and future scale of demand and to create a comprehensive operational growth strategy.
Objectives
The objectives of this review are to clarify:
1. the organizational needs related to growth and sustainability
2. operational needs to support growth
3. assistance with development of a plan
The consultant will be responsible for the overall organization, project management and execution of the project including:
1. Initial Review: Review of current state of the organization and environment SHIP operates in.
2. Gap Analysis: Based on initial review, determine what are the current gaps in the organization and needs of the community.
3. Strategies: Provide details of strategies for growth for SHIP to implement based on research.
4. Final Report: Provide action plan on how to grow the organization.
5. Measures: Provide details of how to measure success with growth strategy development.
