Description
Part of this work requires delineation and volume estimates of contaminated substrates on site. These investigations must provide the required data at an appropriate resolution and quality to be used to complete “Issued-For-Construction” design drawings with cost estimates of +/- 25 % for the preferred rehabilitation option design (including excavation limits and volumes and implementation).
The design goal shall be to rehabilitate all contaminated soils and waste rock on site, as well as to ensure no discharge of contaminated water (surface and ground) offsite occurs.
The design shall ensure that minimal monitoring and care is required after the implementation of the design. The design must comply with the requirements of the Mining Act and O.reg 240/00. Alternative rehabilitation options, evaluation and recommendation and contaminant delineation screening criteria and justification must be included in the final conceptual plan and design.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 24 month(s).
