OPERATION & MAINTENANCE OF THE HOG'S BACK SWING BRIDGE OTTAWA, ONTARIO The National Capital Commission (NCC) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) from experienced contractors to provide Operation and Maintenance of the Hog’s Back Swing Bridge (RFP reference number NR47). The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to, be responsible for all operation and maintenance described in this contract including spring start-up and fall shut down, regular inspections and testing and emergency servicing. You may obtain the RFP documents directly from Merx at www.merx.com . All proponents must register with Merx in order to obtain the documents. To be considered, your RFP must be received no later than 3 p.m. Ottawa time on June 6, 2013 at the National Capital Commission, 3rd Floor Service Centre, 40 Elgin Street in Ottawa, Canada, K1P 1C7, with a reference to RFP file #NR47. Proposals may be submitted in French or in English. The NCC reserves the right to reject any or all of the RFP submitted, to cancel the request for proposal, and/or to reissue the request for proposal in its original or revised form. The NCC also reserves the right to negotiate with the successful proponent and/or any or all suppliers. The procurement process of this request for proposal is subject to Chapter 5 of the Agreement on International Trade. Note that amounts quoted in this proposal are in Canadian dollars. Payment is net 30 days. There will be no public opening for this proposal. Faxed, e-mail or late proposals will not be accepted.
