Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement This requirement is for Canadian Heritage. This requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 stream for Project Management Services Class. This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under the category P.9 Project Manager. The following SA Holders have been invited to submit a proposal: EVISION INC., SOFTSIM TECHNOLOGIES INC, IN JOINT VENTURE LANNICK CONTRACT SOLUTIONS INC. MAPLESOFT CONSULTING INC. (o/a Maplesoft Group) THINKWRAP SOLUTIONS INC. Titus International Inc. o/a Titus International Inc., Orangutech Inc., Xindigo Inc. and The KTL Group Inc. in Joint Venture TRM Technologies Inc. Description of the requirement: The Grants and Contributions Modernization Initiative (GCMI) was launched in April 2010 in the context of two Government of Canada initiatives; the Federal Strategy to Reform Program Administration which was announced in Budget 2010, and the Report of the Independent Blue Ribbon Panel on Grants and Contributions (2007). Since its launch, a considerable amount of work has been completed with a focus on standardization, simplification and the adoption of affordable technological improvements. Grants and Contributions Information Management System (GCIMS) is the official tracking system of grants and contributions programs at Canadian Heritage (PCH). This technology has been leveraged to facilitate the implementation of standard processes and tools. PCH has a requirement for a Project Manager that will have a strong management background in business process re-engineering, while understanding software development methodology, design of project artifact based on software engineering methodology (e.g. use case, user experience model). The Project Manager will play a key role in making the linkages between business and technology requirements and the overall project coordination and management of the development and phased implementation of the GCMI. Proposed period of contract: The proposed period of contract shall be from award of contract to June 30, 2014 plus two (2) one (1) year options.
