    Description of the requirement:  
    
    The scope of this project will be primarily focused on representative major ports and facilities within Canada (e.g. Vancouver, Prince Rupert, Montreal and/or Halifax).
    
    The resource is to research and identify vulnerabilities and risks related to cyber security in Canada’s maritime sector and recommend mitigation strategies. 
    
    Project will include a literature review, interviews with key maritime stakeholders and industry leaders (both government and private sector), a study of current practices related to cyber-security awareness and resilience in the maritime sector (with comparison to those being undertaken in other industrial modes), a high level inventory of cyber/digital processes in the maritime sector and a gaps analysis. In particular, the study will focus on ports, vessels and major terminal operations.
