    Description
    Environment Canada is seeking a site operator for its Longlac, Ontario monitoring station. The Canadian Air and Precipitation Monitoring Network (CAPMoN) monitoring station is located approximately 15km west of Longlac, Ontario.   
    
    The isolated location where the work is required makes it difficult for Environment Canada to access the sites on a daily basis and complete the tasks 7 days per week, 365 days each year. The requirement is for an operator and designated backup operator to maintain and operate the site 7 day per week, 12 months each year.   
    
    The work is performed daily and involves collecting samples on a regular schedule between 07:00 and 09:00 Eastern Standard Time each day. The operator will also be responsible for maintaining the site and shipping samples once every two weeks on a pre-determined schedule. It is essential that the operator have a reliable vehicle. Snow clearing of the access road from Kenogamisis Dam Road to fenced compound area as required.
        
    
    Proof of liability insurance and the successful completion of a Federal Government Security/Reliability check will be required before a contract is awarded.
