    REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AS TO THE AVAILABILITY OF WAREHOUSE SPACE
    FOR LEASE IN THE CITY OF OTTAWA
    File No. 5225-2-2013-4 
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is seeking information for the possible lease of space that preferably meets the following criteria:
    
    (A)	Lease components
    A lease term of approximately five (5) years, commencing on or about, June 1, 2014, with the amount of space equal to approximately 900 square metres (m2) usable of contiguous warehouse space with  a minimum of 4.9 metre ceiling height and a 4.3 metre height and width door access.  The premises should be located within the following boundaries:
    
    		North: 	Hunt Club Road
    		South: 	Rideau Road
    		East: 	Bank Street
    		West:	River Road
    
    or:
    
    		North: 	Colonnade Road, Merivale Road, West Hunt Club Road
                             South: 	Slack Road, Grenfell Crescent, Capital Drive, Merivale Road,   
                                           MacFarlane Road, Deskin Street
    		 East: 	Prince of Wales Drive
    		West:	Woodroffe Avenue
    
    The geographical boundaries include sites on either side of the roads.  PWGSC may wish to visit or inspect the premises upon reasonable notice.  PWGSC’s Warehouse Standards for Leased Accommodation apply; a copy may be obtained through the contact listed below.

    As this may be the only Request for Information related to this request, owners and owner’s agents are encouraged to provide responses to this Request for Information by September 20, 2013.
    
    (D)	Information provided by the owner or an owner’s agent
    Information provided by the owner, or by the owner’s agent, should include the location of the building, current zoning, specific location of space within the building, area of space, details pertaining to ceiling height, door size, and electrical capacity.  Agents submitting a response to this Request for Information should provide PWGSC with a letter from the owner authorizing them to do so.  Please indicate File No. 5225-2-2013-4.
    
    (E)	Security requirement
    For this potential lease project or for any other similar requirement, the building owner will have to have obtained the required security clearance level Reliability from the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD) of PWGSC prior to acceptance of an offer. All parties interested in this potential lease project are invited to obtain a security clearance level in advance. Information regarding security clearance can be obtained on the web site of the CISD/PWGSC at http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca. Please contact the person listed below (item F) to initiate the security screening process.
