    THERE IS NO SECURITY REQUIREMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SOLICITATION.
    THE REQUIREMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE AGREEMENT ON INTERNAL TRADE (AIT).
    
    Requirement 
    The present request is to obtain “Data for the Computer and Peripherals Price Index and the Computer Software price Index”.
    
    Statistics Canada intends to award one (1) contract following this tender notice.
    
    The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.
    
    Evaluation Process
    	Bidders MUST meet all the mandatory requirements of the Request for Proposal (RFP).  No further consideration will be given to bidders not meeting all the mandatory criteria.  The mandatory criteria include:
    	
    M1. The Bidder must provide documentary evidence to demonstrate that they can meet the scheduled micro-data delivery requirements listed in SW 4.1.4 of the Statement of Work.
    
    M2. The Bidder must provide documentary evidence to demonstrate that they have a minimum of five (5) years experience in collecting and providing custom market intelligence services for the Canadian technology marketplace.  
    
    M3. The Bidder must provide documentary evidence to demonstrate that they have provided custom market intelligence services to a minimum of two (2) of the following: Federal or Provincial or Municipal government or Crown Corporations for a minimum of three (3) years. 
     
    M4. The Bidder must clearly demonstrate the ability to deliver monthly and annual custom market intelligence services for the Canadian technology marketplace according to the specifications identified in SW.4.3.1 of the Statement of Work.
    
    M5. The Bidder must provide a list of data sources and clear documentation of the data quality and methodology in Word 2007 (*.docx) or in Adobe Acrobat (*.pdf).
    
    M6. The Bidder must provide a list of all data variables available and/or a sample data file containing records that demonstrate their ability to meet the data specifications laid out in SW.4.3.1 of the Statement of Work.
    
    Bidders that meet all mandatory criteria will be evaluated further using point-rated criteria.
    
    Period of the Contract
    Services are to be provided from the date of contract award up to March 31st, 2015, with the possibility of extending the contract for six (6) additional periods of one (1) year each, under the same terms and conditions.
    	Basis of Selection
    	The responsive bid with the highest responsive combined rating of technical merit and price will be recommended for award of a contract.
    	
    Debriefings
    After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
