Description
Environment Canada (EC) requires the services of a Contractor to lay out approximately 500 pages in English and 500 pages in French separately. EC will provide the successful bidder with the Microsoft Word Templates using the EC corporate look. The content will be forwarded in both English and French as a Word document. The Contractor shall also be responsible for basic word formatting for consistency and the creation of the cover page using the elements of the Environment Canada look, (included in the template). One cover Page will be created for each region appropriately representing the marine flavor of that region. The regions consist of; pacific, prairies, Arctic, Ontario, Quebec(St. Lawrence seaway), Maritimes. The main requirement will be the laying out of text on the 500 pages along with approximately 3 graphic images per page. There is also a requirement for Graphic design work. The Environment Canada corporate look is a requirement. EC is also requesting that the Contractor include an allowance for additional rounds of author alterations upon proofing. PDF proof is to be supplied. The Contractor shall be responsible for preparing press ready accessible PDF’s on CD.
