    Description
    Environment Canada has a requirement for the above services.  If you are interested, please send in your quotation to participate in open competition for the project entitled “Analysis of Water, Sediment and Tissue Samples for Total Mercury and Methyl Mercury for the Integrated Monitoring Plan for the Oil Sands” in accordance with the Terms of Reference for this project. 
    
    If you are interested in undertaking this project, please submit your quotation via e-mail or fax in one (1) original copy, clearly marked with “K4E21-13-0019 Analysis of Water, Sediment and Tissue Samples for Total Mercury and Methyl Mercury for the Integrated Monitoring Plan for the Oil Sands” to:

    Quotations must be received no later than 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time on December 19, 2013.  Quotations received after that date and time will be deemed unresponsive, and returned.  Prior approval must be obtained from the Contracting Authority to submit quotations electronically or via facsimile.  The Crown reserves the right not to accept any of the proposals received.
    
    Please use a pricing format shown in the Terms of Reference and list the GST as a separate amount.  Quotations shall be valid for sixty (60) days from the specified closing date, and may be extended upon written request.  
    
    If successful, you will be expected to enter into a Short Form Service Contract with accompanying Terms and Conditions as found in the Terms of Reference. 
    
    All enquiries or issues concerning this proposed procurement must be submitted in writing only to the Contracting Authority no later than three (3) working days prior to the bid closing date.  To ensure consistency and quality of information to Bidders, the Contracting Authority will provide simultaneously to all bidders, any information with respect to significant enquiries received and the replies to such enquiries, without revealing their sources.
    
    All enquiries and other communications with government officials throughout the bid solicitation and evaluation period are to be directed only to the Contracting Authority.  Non compliance with this condition may be sufficient reason for bid disqualification.
