    Description
    HQ143002 - Defence Construction Canada - Request for Abbreviated Proposals, Design and Construction (Modified Design Build), Infrastructure in Support of Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle (TAPV), Gagetown, New Brunswick	
    
    Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is inviting Design-Builders having experience in the design and construction of new infrastructure in support of military grade operational vehicles, or other similar facilities, incorporating sustainable design features rated using the LEED® Canada system (NC 1.0 or NC 2009), to submit Technical Proposals and Offers of Service, which meet or exceed the requirements specified in the Request for Abbreviated Proposal (RFAP) documents, which include, but may not be limited to, the following:
    
    •	Pre-Design Report
    •	Options Analysis
    •	Statement of Construction Requirements
    •	Concept Design
    •	Design Development
    •	Construction Documents
    •	Construction
    •	Design and build to LEED® Silver standard (formal certification will not be pursued)
    •	Site Remediation (integration of remediation into design, if required)
    •	IT Infrastructure Design
    •	Post Construction Phase Services
    •	Participation in the Commissioning process
    
    Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals (RFAP) document.  The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as professional, technical and managerial expertise, and approach and methodology. The highest ranking Design-Builder selected through the evaluation process, including a factor for the price element, will be invited to negotiate an Agreement with DCC.
    
    This opportunity follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
    
    The construction cost limit for this project is $15,000,000
