Nature of Requirements: 

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement:

Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has a requirement for Waste Management and Recycling services for ten (10) Institutions located in the Fraser Valley and one (1) on Vancouver Island, BC.

Objectives: 

Disposal of non-organic and organic waste material along with recyclable items generated by each location and dispose of them in an environmentally sound manner in accordance with all provincial and city regulations.

Deliverables: 

Pick up non-organic and organic waste material along with recyclable items on a weekly basis from each Institution.

Expected Delivery Date: 
Work to be completed for the duration of the contract term 01 June 2014 to 31 May 2016 
with the Option to renew for two additional 1-year periods for a total of four (4) years.

After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
