Title: Waste Management and Recycling Services This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Pacific Region, VARIOUS Institutions in the Fraser Valley and Vancouver Island, British Columbia Trade agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), World Trade Organisation-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)/Canada-Peru, Canada-Colombia and/or Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreements Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: Compliant bid with the lowest price for each Group Location Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract includes security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement: Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has a requirement for Waste Management and Recycling services for ten (10) Institutions located in the Fraser Valley and one (1) on Vancouver Island, BC. Objectives: Disposal of non-organic and organic waste material along with recyclable items generated by each location and dispose of them in an environmentally sound manner in accordance with all provincial and city regulations. Deliverables: Pick up non-organic and organic waste material along with recyclable items on a weekly basis from each Institution. Expected Delivery Date: Work to be completed for the duration of the contract term 01 June 2014 to 31 May 2016 with the Option to renew for two additional 1-year periods for a total of four (4) years.
