This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Port-Cartier Institution. Trade agreement: This procurement is not subject to any trade agreement. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract includes security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. As part of our policies and obligations to provide psychological services and essential mental health services, Health Services Correctional Service of Canada (CSC in the text), Quebec Region, are looking for a contracted resource to provide these services to the establishment of Port Cartier. Objective: At the appropriate time, obtain the various psychological and mental health services described in the previous section, at the request of the manager in charge of these services at Port-Cartier Institution. The services offered include various intervention of a psychologist in federal prison spheres, including risk assessment , assessment of mental status and mental health needs , treatment planning, the crisis intervention and prevention of suicide and self-harm, followed by therapeutic and interdisciplinary collaboration. Deliverables: The Contractor must meet the various CSC requirements regarding file management, sharing and recording of information. The Contractor must respect the legal and policy obligations regarding the communication of health information. Various recording systems are used in the delivery of psychological and mental health services (psychological file, health file, OMS, Mental Health Tracking System (MHTS in the text). In addition to the professional standards defined by the Contractor's accreditation body, the delivery of psychological services to the inmate population must also comply with the applicable CSC Acts and policies. The production of assessment or counselling reports and the recording of various recommendations is also governed by content and deadline requirements, with which the Contractor must comply. The wording of these various requirements is in the CCRA, the various guidelines from the applicable CDs, and the permanent orders and other local procedures of Port-Cartier Institution. The various documents produced as part of service delivery to inmates are the property of CSC, and the originals must be placed in the files prepared by the organization and kept at the institution, in accordance with applicable standards. The Contractor must certify its ability to speak and write and perform the work in both official languages (English and French), or in the offender's preferred official language. The services provided by the Contractor must meet the requirements listed in the relevant CSC policies, particularly those described in the following section, "Deliverables". Compliance with these standards for production deadlines; interventions to provide to the targeted population; sections to be documented in the reports and notes produced; information sharing; participation in case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings will be verified by the manager in charge.
