Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement This requirement is for Elections Canada. This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 stream for Applications Services for the following category: A.1 Application/Software Architect - Level 3 The following SA Holders have been invited to submit a proposal. 1. Description of the requirement: The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer requires the professional services of an Application/Software (Business Intelligence) Architect to assist with an agency wide Information Management and Business Intelligence solution. The initiative will provide the capability to report on status of several operational systems. Initial business areas contributing to requirements in this area include National Register of Electors (E-Registration) and Alternative Voting Methods. The initiative will also integrate data from several operational systems to analyze data with the aim of detecting, during an electoral event, trending circumstances to which the agency should be alerted, and may need to intervene. The Application/Software (Business Intelligence) Architect will provide recommendations for future considerations regarding the EC digital strategy as it relates to BI. Deliverables for this project, range from a functional data mart for implementation during the 42nd GE and recommendations describing an end state architecture for BI in the long term. The objective is to acquire an Application/Software (Business Intelligence) Architect to design and assist in building a data mart in support of operational reporting requirements of contributing business units, for implementation by November 2014, and which can be tested and deployed for the 42nd GE. Proposed period of contract: The proposed period of contract shall be from award of a contract for a period starting at contract award (estimated to be around July 15, 2014 to July 14, 2015 with an option to extend the term of the Contract by up to 2 additional 12 month periods, under the same terms and conditions.
