    Description
    The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is the Government of Canada’s health research investment agency. CIHR provides leadership and support to more than 14,000 health researchers and trainees across Canada. CIHR is seeking to establish a contract with a Service Provider to provide a Research and Reviewer Matching solution to support CIHR’s adjudication of health research funding applications and facilitate the selection process for peer reviewers by profiling and matching peer reviewers to grant applications. CIHR requires a fully-hosted and implementation solution Research and Reviewer Matching solution founded on commercial off the shelf (COTS) products to meet its business needs, to take full advantage of business best practices and innovations within the marketplace.
    This anticipated solution will enhance a largely manual, labor intensive process with a more automated one and facilitate CIHR’s ability to report on the outcomes of the matching process and measure the effectiveness of its awarded funding allocations by looking at the impact of CIHR’s funding in specific research areas.
    The term of this contract will be for three years from contract award.
