Hospitality Services

In the course of a year, the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General (OSGG) plans, organizes and implements hundreds of events, almost all of which have a hospitality component. Although most of the events are held indoors, there are several outdoor events over the course of the year as well. The OSGG employs a core team of permanent hospitality professionals, but due to the number and scale of the events, requires the services of additional hospitality resources to support high-level special events. The additional hospitality workers assist OSGG hospitality team in the delivery of high quality hospitality services at Rideau Hall, the Official Residence of the Governor General of Canada.  The two groups must work side by side in such a way that service is seamless for our guests.  To guests at our events, they must see no difference between the two groups as they work together to deliver the high quality hospitality services.

To provide the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General with high-level hospitality support services on an “as and when required basis” for a full range of hospitality functions, related to food and cleaning services at the Office of the Secretary the Governor General, located at 1 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0A1.

The Office of the Secretary to the Governor Genereal is seeking to establish a contract for Hospitality Services as defined in Annex A, Statement of Work, for one (1) year including four (4) additional one (1) year options.
