This requirement is open only to those invited TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under the categories for: P.9 Project Manager - Intermediate The following SA Holders have been invited to submit a proposal. Lannick Contract Solutions Inc. MGIS Inc. PrecisionERP Incorporated QMR Staffing Solutions Incorporated Randstad Interim Incorporated S.I. Systems Ltd. Somos Consulting Group Ltd. T.E.S. Contract Services Inc. Taligent Consulting Inc. The AIM Group Inc. The Halifax Group TRM Technologies Inc. NOTE: Only invited bidders can summit a proposal for this TBIPS Industry Canada requires the services of a Project Managers to work on IT projects for Industry Canada’s business clients. The CIO uses a stage gate governance model to facilitate the delivery of IT projects. The Project Manager is required to manage medium to large scale, complex, multi-team, multi-platform IT systems development projects and/or infrastructure design and implementation projects. Note: The progression from one State-Gate to the next is subject to internal Industry Canada approvals, as well as wider Government of Canada initiatives. Projects may be halted, redefined or cancelled at any stage, at which point the Project Management Resource may, at the CIO’s discretion, be reassigned temporarily or permanently to another project(s). Alternatively, should (a) project(s) fail to proceed to later Stage-Gates; the resulting contract may be reduced in scope or terminated early. SCOPE OF WORK / KEY ACTIVITIES The Project Manager will: • Develop Project Estimates for client approval • Analyze user’s requirements and finalize requirements with client • Communicate with senior management and clients from a technological and non-technological perspective; • Participate in weekly Project Manager Status meetings • Create a Project Charter to document the purpose, scope, risks, constraints, resource requirements, budget and preliminary schedule for the project • Develop and implement impact assessment of application development on Operations and the technical infrastructure • Create a detailed project plan • Develop work plans for the resources • Manage the project plan • Manage project scope • Monitor team activities • Manage the project’s budget • Keep clients informed of progress on their projects • Negotiate implementation date with client • Other duties as required The proposed period of contract shall be from: Initial Contract Period: Contract award to August 31, 2015 plus 4 option year periods File Number: IC401393 Contracting Authority: Tony Eyre E-Mail: tony.eyre@ic.gc.ca NOTE: Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Method of Supply is refreshed on an annual basis.
