    Description of the requirement:
    
    The Application Maintenance and Support Directorate (AMSD) of Industry Canada has the need for one  ERP Programmer Analyst now and one on an as required basis to assist the current team with the ongoing maintenance and support of SAP.  The resource will work directly with the maintenance team providing expertise in SAP and specifically ABAP development support.
    
    Tasks are centered around the maintenance of SAP based on specifications and requirements according to IC’s standards and guidelines.  
    
    Duties may include:
    •	Review program codes and correct ABAP program errors
    •	Analyze requirements and create appropriate designs, development and implementation of ABAP projects. 
    •	Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards and best practices as established by Industry Canada.
    •	Provide technical and functional guidance when requested and required. 
    •	Provide high quality customer service support throughout the length of the contract. 
    •	Conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and enhancements. 
    •	Collaborate with all members of the team to develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the client needs. 
    •	Maintain and update existing program codes as needed. 
    •	Develop technical specification and estimations for assigned workload as required. 
    •	Ensure project completion within the allotted timelines and budget. 
    •	Troubleshoot production problems in a timely manner.
    Proposed period of contract:
    
    The proposed period of contract shall be on an “As and when requested services” from:
    
    Initial Contract Period:  Contract award to September 30, 2015 plus one option year period
