Holder, Extendable Batons

**This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number M0077-14-H602 dated 2014/05/20 with a closing of 2014/06/10 at 2pm.  A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation. **

The RCMP's Uniform and Equipment Program has a requirement for a firm quantity of four-thousand (4000) Extendable Baton Holders. The breakdown of the firm quantity is as follows: five-hundred (500) 21” Extendable Baton Holders and thirty-five hundred (3500) 26” Extendable Baton Holders.  Please see “Annex A – Requirement and basis of payment” of RFP for further details.

This requirement includes an “as and when requested” quantity of up to five-hundred (500) Extendable Baton Holders. The breakdown of the flexible stock is as follows: one-hundred (100) 21” Extendable Baton Holders and four-hundred (400) 26” Extendable Baton Holders, which can be ordered within 36 months from contract award. 

In addition, there is one optional quantity of up tone thousand Extendable Baton Holders. The breakdown of the optional quantity is as follows: two-hundred (200) 21” Extendable Baton Holders and eight-hundred (800) 26” Extendable Baton Holders. The option can be exercised within 24 months from contract award. 

All quantities are to be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario. The firm quantity is requested to be delivered 45 days following approval of the pre-production sample.
 
This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Purchase Description PD-PE-78 dated 2014-05-23 and viewing sample. Specification documents can be found attached to the RFP.

The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-award sample.

This requirement is subject to AIT.

This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods. 

The successful bidder will be determined based upon the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal.

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. 

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. 

The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements.  It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
