Description
The objective of this project is to prepare improved maintenance procedures that help address the unique challenges associated with preserving highway embankment stability and safe driving surfaces in permafrost regions. Improved maintenance practices will help ensure that critical transportation infrastructure in the North is maintained and sustained for the long-term. The project will serve to help better understand the maintenance requirements of northern transportation infrastructure in permafrost terrain.
