MTLPROG2014 - ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE BASE PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 14/15 MTLPROG2014 - ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE BASE PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 14/15, Montréal Garrison (QC) ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE BASE PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 14/15 MONTREAL GARRISON AND RELATED SATELLITE SITES (WITH SECURITY REQUIREMENTS) Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of potential projects with anticipated security requirements to provide interested Contractors/Consultants an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that these projects will proceed. Description of the Program The program may include, but is not limited to new construction for DND’s infrastructure, renovations and modernization of Department of National Defence (DND) infrastructure, demolition and removal of DND’s infrastructure in support of Canadian Forces Operations. Additional technical services supporting the program may also include, but not limited to design study, drawings and specifications, land surveying, materials testing, geological and environmental studies. Overall program value is estimated at $7 000 000, with the contract value generally ranging from $5 000 to $1 000 000 and the maximum value of any individual project could reach $5 000 000. Description of the Services The program will consist of construction projects that may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: • Roof replacement and repair • Masonry securing • Temporary posts installation • Reinforcing the roof structure • Clean-up and decontamination • Safety arm installation • Safety equipment installation • Boiler burners replacement • Gas detectors installation • Increasing Gas tank capacity • Fences installation • Pool demolition • Museum renovation It is anticipated that the procurement for these projects will be initiated in the period of August, 2014 through March 31, 2015. This is conditional on the project receiving approval to proceed by DND. Security Requirements For this contract, Contractors will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS), issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Process Contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a bid for this procurement can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP).
