Description
SSHRC has a requirement for the evaluation of their doctoral fellowships: specifically, the synthesis of data from all lines of evidence, preparation of an evaluation report, and presentations to committees. Treasury Board’s Policy on Evaluation (2009) requires that all programs be evaluated on a five year cycle. This evaluation will count towards Treasury Board’s coverage requirements of the Doctoral and Postdoctoral Fellowships sub-program. The evaluation will be overseen by an Evaluation Advisory Committee (EAC) composed of staff from the Evaluation Division, program staff and management, along with external observers, representing the perspective of the research and research training community.
