Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement

This Requirement is for: Health Canada and Public Health Agency of Canada

This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 - stream 5, Project Management Services. 

This requirement is open only to those invited TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under the categories for:  P.9.  Project Manager, Level 3.

The following SA Holders have been invited to submit a proposal, however should an uninvited SA Holder wish to be invited, it may contact the Contracting Authority to request an invitation at any time prior to five days before the published bid closing date, and an invitation will be made to that SA Holder unless it would not be consistent with the efficient operation of the procurement system. In no circumstance will such an invitation require Canada to extend a bid closing date. Where additional invitations are made during the solicitation process, they may not be reflected in a bid solicitation amendment.

Description:  Health Canada and Public Health Agency of Canada requires the professional services of one (1) Project Manager, Level 3, on an “as and when” required basis.

Security requirement at bid closing:  PWGSC FILE # Common PS SRCL#19

Proposed period of contract: The proposed period of the contract shall be for 12 months from contract award date, and two (2) additional twelve (12) months optional periods under the same terms and conditions.


Number of Contracts:  This solicitation is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract.

Trade Agreement: This procurement is set aside from the international trade agreements under the provision each has for set-asides for small and minority businesses.  Further to Article 1802 of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), AIT does not apply to this procurement.

Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business:  This procurement is set aside under the federal government's Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business, as detailed in Annex 9.4 Requirements for the Set-aside Program for Aboriginal Business, of the Supply Manual.
