AGREEMENT TYPES: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Inquiries regarding this RFP requirement are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority listed below: Joanne Maybroda Telephone Number: 780-670-8627 Fax No.: 780-454-4527 Email: Joanne.Maybroda@rcmp-grc.gc.ca NATURE OF REQUIREMENT: For the supply and delivery of four (4) new; 2014 (most current manufacturer model year still in production) Standard Snowmobiles for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Edmonton, Alberta. An option to purchase additional units; within one (1) year of contract award will be incorporated into the resulting contract and will be raised by an amendment. An additional quantity of four (4) new; 2014 (most current manufacturer model year still in production) Standard Snowmobiles will be incorporated into the resulting contract. Requirements are in accordance with the Mandatory Technical Criteria and Minimum Performance Requirements Criteria detailed in the Request For Proposal documents in Annex C. SECURITY: There is no security requirement associated with the requirement. EVALUATION PROCEDURES: Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the bid solicitation. An evaluation team composed of representatives of Canada will evaluate the bids. BASIS OF SELECTION: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract. DEBRIEFINGS: After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person. DELIVERY DATE: The Crown is asking for delivery by December 12th, 2014. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. The RCMP has published its National Procurement Plan for 2014/15.
