Description of the requirement: Background The Information Management and Technology Directorate (IMTD) within the Corporate Services Branch (CSB) of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) is a strategic IM/IT service provider to the Commission. The Technical Support Services Division (TSSD) within IMTD is responsible for providing technical support to the Commission including web management services, desktop support, audio/visual and IT Security services. Scope of Work The CNSC has migrated to Windows 7 / MS Office 2010 environment and is looking for the full time services of a Senior Operations Support Specialist resource to convert MS Office templates to 2010. In addition the resource will be expected to provide end user support for MS Office 2010. Summary of Duties • Support the organization in a MS Office 2010 environment • Perform relationship tasks between the applications within the Microsoft Office 2010 Suite • Create fillable forms within the 2010 Microsoft Office Suite • Develop & write macros within the MS Office Suite 2010 (Excel) • Provide stakeholder support for the Microsoft Office 2010 Suite • Convert MS Office Templates 2003 to MS Office 2010 Security requirement at bid closing: Valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Incumbent: S.i. Systems Ltd. (December 16, 2013 to December 12, 2014) Proposed period of contract: The proposed period of contract shall be from contract award plus 230 days and two irrevocable option periods of 230 days as Option Period 1 and 230 days as Option Period 2.
