This requirement is for: the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General This requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier “1” stream for IM/IT Services. This requirement is open only to those invited TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under the categories for: • I.9. System Administrator, and • I.10. Technical Architect The following SA Holders have been invited to submit a proposal. 1. Accenture Inc. 2. Altis Human Resources (Ottawa) Inc., and Excel Human Resources Inc., in Joint Venture 3. Emerion 4. Excel Human Resources Inc. 5. Fujitsu Consulting (CANADA) Inc./Fujitsu Conseil (Canada) Inc. 6. General Dynamics Canada Litmited 7. Hitachi Data Systems Inc. 8. IDS Systems Consultants Inc. 9. iFathom Corporation 10. Quallium Corporation 11. SAS Institute (Canada) Inc. 12. TELUS Communications Inc. 13. Thales Canada Inc. 14. Trillys Systems inc. 15. TRM Technologies Inc. Description of the requirement: The Office of the Secretary to the Governor General (OSGG) Information Technology Directorate is responsible for all Information Technology (IT) systems, including their deployment, maintenance, and support. The IT systems are responsible for, but not limited to: servers, desktops, applications, networks, messaging, virtualization, storage, authentication, VPN and SharePoint. The OSGG IT Department staffing levels and competencies allows for generalized day to day support of the IT infrastructure; however complex issues and specialized migrations are outside the scope of responsibilities and skills of the existing team. The OSGG IT Directorate faces challenging as well as changing IT issues on an “as and when” required basis. In order to address these issues, specific expertise not currently found within the IT Directorate is needed. The expertise required does not warrant a full-time placement and may require several experts collaborating. On-demand expert resources have in the past and will continue to help ensure quality and timely systems support, for planned or unplanned events. Proposed period of contract: The proposed period of contract shall be from contract award to March 31, 2016, with four (4) additional one (1) year periods under the same terms and conditions.
