TIME AND CLOSING LOCATION REMAIN UNCHANGED*** ******************************************************************************* Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals for Environmental Consulting Services: HQ06016, Phase II at Former Camp Ipperwash, Lambton Shores, Ontario Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from environmental consulting firms to provide professional services specific to this Department of National Defence (DND) project, which will be located in Lambton Shores, Ontario. This work is part of a larger investigation project titled “Unexploded Ordnance (UXO), Environmental and Cultural Resource Investigation within the Former Camp Ipperwash”, which is in its final stage. This over-arching investigation project on the site is referred to as the Former Camp Ipperwash (FCI) Investigation. 1.2.2 The main objectives of this contract are to: .1 Conduct the Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for the Range and Training Area potential areas of environmental concern (PAECs); .2 Conduct additional Phase II ESA work in non-range PAECs; .3 Prepare Phase II ESA Report on Objectives 1 and 2; .4 Provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimate for remediation of the identified areas of environmental concern based on the work completed under this contract; .5 Prepare a Project Executive Summary summarizing the key findings of all the work completed at the site for the UXO, Environmental and Cultural Investigations. Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise. The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposals is to select the proponent with the highest total score. This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA. Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Abbreviated Proposals on the forms that are available from the MERX Website www.merx.com MERX by calling 1-800-964-6379.
