NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT 


Summary: Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has a requirement for the removal and replacement of new asphalt roof shingles on (2) two of its residential style offender houses at Bath institution located at:  5775 Bath Road Bath, Ontario K0H 1G0.

This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, in Ontario. 

Trade agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.

Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.

This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.

This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.

Nature of Requirements: 

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. 

The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to supply & Install two new asphalt roofs on offender’s residences at Bath Institution. Work under this contract will involve, but is not limited to, the following, for Correctional Service Canada (CSC). Supply of all labour, material, tools, equipment, transportation, installation and supervision necessary to complete this project. Work will include but is not limited to etc., as further detailed in the specification and drawings.

Objectives: To supply & Install two new asphalt roofs on offenders residences at Bath Institution.

Deliverables: Supply of all labour, material, tools, equipment, transportation, installation and supervision necessary to. Work will include but is not limited to etc., as further detailed in the specification and drawings.

NOTE TO BIDDERS: Bidders can obtain the complete statement of work and evaluation criteria by ordering the solicitation document and associated documents from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Potential bidders must contact the Contract Authority via email (edward.desormo@csc-scc.gc.ca) prior to the 07-Jan-2015 to indicate who will be attending the mandatory site visit as well their company name to ensure they will be granted access to the Institution. Failure to do the above will mean you will not be able to attend the mandatory site visit and not be able to bid on this solicitation.

There will be a site visit on 12-January-2015 at 1 pm. interested bidders are to meet at Bath Institution Main entrance.

The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada (English or French).

Given the nature of the requirements, proposals submitted by such means as facsimile or electronic mail will not be accepted.

After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
