    Description of the requirement:
    
    The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission has a requirement for one (1) Programmer/Analyst.
    
    Summary of Duties
    CNSC requires the full time professional services of one (1) Level 3 Programmer/Analyst to provide SharePoint development services in support of IMTD projects. The goal is to upgrade from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013 including the migration of the applications under the new application model.  
    Once solutions are implemented, the Programmer/Analyst will work closely with the development teams to administer load testing and then performance tune SharePoint applications in the production environment. Additionally, the Programmer/Analyst will manage and maintain the environments by automating systems management and monitoring activities; and will assist application development teams to troubleshoot integration issues.
    Tasks to be performed 
    The Programmer/Analyst (SharePoint developer) tasks include but are not limited to the following: 
    
    •	Develop SharePoint bilingual intranet and application solutions for SharePoint 2013;
    •	Collaboration with others to design and implement solutions that provides long term scalability, reliability, and performance. 
    •	Create and modify code and software
    •	Create and modify screens and reports
    •	Convert applications developed under SharePoint 2007 and migrate them to the new development model of SharePoint 2013.
    •	Design, develop, and maintain key components of the SharePoint Server 2013
    •	Interpret business, functional and design requirements to determine if SharePoint is a viable solution to meet the requirements; 
    •	Interpret system requirement documents in order to develop SharePoint based solutions;
    •	Integrate SharePoint solutions with existing .Net Web Services and external databases;
    •	Implement pre-designed web templates as MPTs and page layouts with multiple web part zones (WPZs);
    •	Integrate 3rd-party solutions into SharePoint implementation, specifically at web application, site collection master page (MPT) and page layout layers, such as Bamboo TreeView, and Lightning Conductor List Rollup web parts;
    •	Deploy fully anonymous MOSS 2013 site collections such that content is accessible without any pass-through authentication for http search crawls and mobile devices, specifically for Google Mini and Blackberry devices;
    •	Implement multi-path content deployment jobs between site collections;
    •	Maintain standard Look & Feel as defined by ASD; and 
    •	Author, execute and repair unit test scripts and results of the modules during development and maintenance.
    
    Note:	Working beyond normal working hours, including evenings and weekends as and when required on approval from Project Authority. 
    
    Security requirement at bid closing: Valid Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

    Proposed period of contract:
    
    The proposed period of contract shall be from contract award plus 230 days for the initial period, plus 2 irrevocable options of 60 days each allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract.
