Sierra Systems Group Inc. Telus Communications Company The Bell Telephone Company of Canada or Bell Canada/La Compagnie de Téléphone Bell du Canada our Bell Canada Project Overview Numerous Industry Canada business units identified a need for a software tool that would enable them to better manage their client / stakeholder information in a shared and transparent manner across their business units. In addition to these business needs, clients have also expressed the need for software tools that would enable them to better manage individual cases in a user-centric, collaborative and transparent manner. Due to the commonality in required functionality across multiple business lines, a Client and Case Management Cluster project was established to assess and recommend a common solution platform for these business needs. As an output to the work by this cluster group, an options analysis was conducted followed by a Request for Information (RFI). This RFI process provided Industry Canada with the assurance that there were sufficient high quality Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products available. This RFI process also ensured that a suitable solution could be procured by Industry Canada for a department wide Case and Client Management solution platform. The envisioned end state for hosting Microsoft Dynamics CRM will be the Shared Case Management System (SCMS) operated by PWGSC. This environment will not be ready until at least Q1 of 2015/16 which does not meet the business and regulatory requirements of Industry Canada. As such the implementation of the environment will take a multi phased approach including: 1. Phase I: Implementation of an interim production environment in FY 2014/15 2. Phase II: Transition and On-boarding of clients to the PWGSC SCMS environment Industry Canada intends to establish a Client and Case Management Solution (CCMS) using the Microsoft (MS) Dynamics CRM platform. This CCMS solution platform will become a vehicle for delivering applications to Business Units that require one or more of the following core functions: • Client / stakeholder management; • Business process management; • Case management; • Event management; • Document management. Industry Canada’s CIO Sector is in the process of establishing a Client and Case Management (CCMS) Operations Centre to support the development, delivery and support of MS Dynamics CRM 2013 application solutions for our business clients. The CCMS Operations Centre is a horizontal organizational initiative and must support the requirements of both Industry Canada and its portfolio partners. Currently, Industry Canada CIO Sector has a fully functional Dynamics CRM 2013 test environment, and is in the process of establishing an interim Production environment. Project Requirement In order to ensure that this endeavour achieves the outcomes demanded by Industry Canada and its business units, the CIO Sector is seeking to establish a contract to support the specific tasks to ‘kick-start’ the planning, the evolution and operation of the CCMS Operations Centre at Industry Canada. In support of the CCMS Operations Centre, Industry Canada will need to acquire the necessary skill sets to develop and support various Business Units’ applications using the established MS Dynamics CRM 2013 platform. Further, Industry Canada requires help in aligning its Microsoft Dynamics CRM Practice with processes currently in place within the department.
