Description
This requirement is set aside for Aboriginal suppliers in accordance with the government Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business. The bidder must certify in its bid that it is an Aboriginal business as defined within the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business. The Department of Indian and Northern Affairs, Canada (DIAND), British Columbia (BC) Region has an ongoing requirement for Project Management, Project leadership, desktop support and application maintenance services on site in Vancouver, BC. These services will support the regions by providing reliable access to information resources, computer hardware, end-user support (including account management) and application software maintenance. In addition, there is a need for qualified liaison services providing expert communication and response to designated centres that are responsible for Internet/Intranet and network management support. DIAND wishes to enter into a one year contract with an option for a second year. DIAND seeks a contract with a company that can provide, under TBIPS resource definitions of qualification levels, for: - one (1) Project Manager Level 3, - one (1)P.8 Project Leader - Level 2, - 3 (three) Level 2 Helpdesk support resources and - 1 (one) A.6 Programmer/Software Developer – Level 3 Bidders submitting Proposals MUST propose services in all four (4) Service Streams (Project Manager, Project leader, 3 (three) Helpdesk Support resources and a Programmer/Software Developer.) NOTE: An individual may not be named under more than one (1) Category. The work will be carried out in Vancouver, British Columbia. Virtual support will not meet the requirement for onsite/ in person support. The Bidder must have been in operation as a business for a minimum of five (5) years, and must have provided Information Technology Services for a minimum of five (5) years. The Bidder must have resources located in Vancouver, British Columbia. All the Bidder’s resources must be security cleared to Government of Canada SECRET level by Contract award. Bidders will be assessed at the corporate and resource level based on experience, qualifications, quality of proposal, and cost. The Contracts period will be from date of award to January 31st, 2016. The option to renew will be at the sole discretion of the crown from February 1, 2016 to January 31st 2017. Point of Hire is Vancouver, British Columbia. This procurement is subject to the World Trade Organization - Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO - AGP)
