    1 x B.4. Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Specialist – Level 2
    The services of the Business Continuity /Disaster Recovery Specialist will help to maintain compliance with the Management of Information Technology Security Standard (MITS) and Government Security Policy (GSP). Every federal government institution must develop a Business Continuity Planning Program to comply with the 2012 GSP of the Government of Canada. 
    
    The objective is to assist the Innovation, Information and Technology Branch (IITB) via the IT Security Architecture Division, in developing an IT Service Continuity Management Strategy to help mature the organization moving forward. 
    
    The scope of work is to develop comprehensive plans to ensure continuity of ESDC’s critical services/systems during a business continuity incident (Service Interruption).
    
    Project activities will go through the proper ESDC IM/IT Project Management Framework governance process to ensure that deliverables and deadlines are being met.
    
    The duration of current and upcoming work activities may span over three fiscal years depending on workload and priorities.
    
    
    Bidders must submit a bid for all resource categories. 
    Trade Agreement(s): The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), the Canadian-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), and the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA).
