Insourcing Digitization Services

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to provide qualified Contractors capable of providing Library and Archives Canada (LAC) with timely and accurate digitization services and quality assurance, on an as-and-when required basis, as specified within one or more subsequent Task Authorization(s) (TA), following the award of one (1) or up to three (3) Contract(s). 
 
In the provision of digitization services, the Contractor shall be required to provide one (1) or more qualified resource(s) for the provision of one (1), some or all of the services identified in Annex A – Statement of Work, within a single TA. The number of resources required for the provision of each of the identified services will be specified within any resulting TA(s). At a minimum, the named resources shall meet or exceed the minimum qualifications required for the resource category in which they are providing digitization services to LAC under this Contract. 

Please note that the estimated budget for the original contract(s) period(s) and the two (2) option periods are as follows:

-	Original Contract Period Estimated Budget: $1,000,000.00 (GST/HST included) divided equally between number of contracts awarded (up to a maximum of three (3) contracts)
-	Option Period One (1) Estimated Budget:  $500,000.00 (GST/HST included) divided equally between number of contracts awarded (up to a maximum of three (3) contracts)
-	Option Period Two (2) Estimated Budget: $500,000.00 (GST/HST included) divided equally between number of contracts awarded (up to a maximum of three (3) contracts)
