    Scope of Work/Deliverables: 
    
    
    .1	Supply all labour, materials and equipment necessary and incidental for the repairs and upgrades to the Aeration Tower in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The work shall generally include the following:
    
    •	Repairs to oxidized sections of the galvanized steel members.  
    •	Removal and Replacement of six (6) hollow structural steel tube columns.       Complete modifications to other existing structural steel members as required.
    •	Installation of temporary shoring as required for structural upgrades.
    •	Installation of temporary hoarding or polyethylene sheets to prevent any                contaminants and construction debris from entering aeration tower head tank.
    •	Fabrication and installation of new structural steel required for the enclosed         walls and roof.
    •	Installation of new electrical and mechanical systems.
    •	Installation of eaves troughs and downspouts for proper conveyance of rain          water.
    
    Mandatory Requirements: 
    
    •	The minimum acceptable amount of Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance is $2,000,000.00 per occurrence. All tenders must be accompanied by confirmation from the tenderer’s insurance company that the required insurance will be available upon contract award;
    •	The tenderer must provide tender security, at the tenderer’s own cost, in accordance with the document entitled "Tender Security Requirements" as Bid Security is required for bids over $100,000.  Under these circumstances, the Tender and original signed Bid Bond must be delivered to the Closing Location prior to the closing date.
    
    Note: All tender securities (Bid Bond) will be returned except that of the successful tenderer (Bidder), which will be retained until the successful tenderer (Contractor) has completed the said contract.

    .1	The Conuma River Hatchery is located at the head of Tlupana Inlet which is located 40 km north of Gold River, BC along Head Bay Road. (Site Coordinates: 49°47'53.2"N 126°25'02.4"W)
    
    .2 	The road from the Village of Gold River to Conuma Hatchery is a gravel road. 
    
    Expected Start and Completion Dates:
    The services of the Contractor will be commencing upon award of the Contract.  The expected completion date of this project is March 31th, 2015.
    								
    Security Requirement: There is no security requirement for this project.
    
    Ownership of Intellectual Property: Not Applicable.
    
    Question and Answer period: DFO will accept Bidder questions until Thursday, February 05, 2015. These are to be sent directly and only to the contracting Officer listed below.
