    Description of the requirement:
PCH has undertaken a review of its outdated Work Descriptions (WDs). This represents approximately 470 unique non-EX WDs that have not yet been reviewed for more than five years. An additional 25 EX work descriptions also need to be updated. We would like to offer to PCH managers a central point to access a pool of qualified consultants to help them update and develop WDs in their organization in order that they reflect the respective positions’ current duties.

As well, given the numerous organization changes that have occurred in the past years following transformation initiatives, there is a need to move forward, in anticipation of the Occupational Group Structure review within the public service, with the work required to review organizational structures and confirm classification of positions, reflecting changes that have occurred. As workload often exceeds organizational capacity to deliver within the approved service standards, this pool of qualified expert classification consultants will provide the additional support required.
