    DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – #HX01037– Jetty NJ Construction, Halifax Dockyard, CFB Halifax, NS
    
    The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for dredging, transportation, treatment and disposal of contaminated silt, till and rock. The work also includes the supply and placement of mattress, rip-rap, concrete scour protection, the construction and placement of reinforced concrete caissons and excavation, backfilling and trenching as required for the construction of various structures and underground services, etc.

    The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $78,000,000.00
    
    Bidders are advised that bid and contract security is required when the advertised budget (estimated cost for this opportunity) is greater than $100,000.  Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193), paragraph 5.
    
    This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
    
    The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).  Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
