In Joint Venture Description of the requirement: 1.0 The Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development (DIAND) has the primary, but not exclusive responsibility for meeting the federal government’s constitutional, treaty, political, and legal responsibilities to First Nations, Inuit, and Northerners. Under this mandate, DIAND is responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and assessment of policies and the delivery of a variety of programs and services to First Nations, Inuit, and Northern peoples and communities. 2.0 The Informatics Management Branch, Application Development, Data and Database Administration (ADDDA), requires Project Manager Services on specific projects and on an “as needed” basis for web application development and support. Proposed period of contract: The proposed period of contract shall be for one (1) year starting on the contract award date with (1) one (1) one year Option Period. Up to two (2) contracts will be awarded as a result of this solicitation.
