    This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 for services in the National Capital Region for the following categories:

    One (1) Level 2 Business Transformation Architect
    One (1) Level 1 Tester

    Description of Work:
    -	The catch certification process is supported by an IT application called the Fisheries Certificate System (FCS).The FCS is a web-based system that supports industry clients in applying for several types of certificates; including European Union (EU), Chile, Japan, and Ukraine catch certificates. The FCS also supports DFO in conducting and managing the underlying validation and issuance processes.
    -	
    -	Due to the evolution of the business requirements, including emerging certification schemes and changes to existing regulations and processes, there is a need to continue optimization and maintenance of the FCS. The business pressures will require that the project continue with a quarterly release cycle, including ongoing application support and maintenance and coordination of corporate management reporting requirements. The activities will also include the maintenance of an integrated FCS Audit Windows application used to support and report on exporter compliance to the certification process. The Department will also undertake in the future a review and consolidation of its fishery management information systems, to reduce costs and facilitate transition to standard IT infrastructure provided by Shared Services Canada.
