Requirement:  IHS Global Inc. Suite of Energy Intelligence Services

Deliverable:  A suite of energy information services covering Canada, the U.S. and the world at large. These services provide on-line and hard copy reports on such topics as current and future trends in the supply, demand, transportation infrastructure and prices for main energy forms (primarily crude oil, natural and electricity), and including commentary on current issues in energy industry. 

IHS Global Inc. provides a unique and comprehensive offering of services.  The package for the NEB is made up of: Crude Oil Markets – Global, Crude Oil Markets - North America, Refined and Product Markets – Global, Refined and Product Markets - North America, NGL Markets – Global, NGL Markets - North America, North American Natural Gas, North American Power, Global LNG, North American Supply Analytics, and Long-term Planning and Energy Scenarios.

Also included is: access to ten IHS research teams around the world; invitations to biannual Executive research briefings and quarterly market updates in Calgary; and weekly and biweekly market briefings (via Webex).     

In addition to making its analysis available online and in hard-copy formats, IHS researchers are available to discuss their work, as required, notably at the aforementioned Executive research briefings and market updates. Publications are made available electronically to National Energy Board staff (no practical restrictions). All these services are included in the annual fee. 

Estimated Value:  $84,670.00 USD, plus GST

Period of Contract: Will be for a period of ten (10) months.  

Reason for Single Tendering Conditions: In accordance with the Government Contract Regulation exception, this requirement is being directed to the proposed Contractor who is the only known company capable of performing the contract.
