TBIPS - Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Oracle Cluster

Transport Canada requires the services for One (1) Level 3 Project Manager (part-time), One (1) Level 3 Functional Analyst, One (1) Level 3 Programmer/Analyst and One (1) Level 3 Database Administrator (part-time) to support and develop base Oracle applications on behalf of three federal departments.

Background:

Transport Canada is a member of the federal Oracle Financials Cluster Group (the Oracle Cluster) comprised of three participating and two non-participating members who each operate their own installations of Oracle Financials.

The Oracle Cluster is governed through a horizontal, collaborative model with an Assistant Deputy Ministers’ steering committee, a Directors’ General steering committee, a Directors’ working group of participating departments that provides day to day direction on operations including work plans, deliverables, and financial control.  The day-to-day technical, functional and administrative operations of the Cluster Group are managed by the project manager.  A series of working group meetings are coordinated and managed by the cluster office on common items such as technology, functionality and other items of specific interest.

Objective:

To provide from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016 (plus one option year) managerial, functional and technical system support services necessary to ensure the ongoing maintenance, development and effective operation of the Oracle Financials (ERP) common system solutions, as well as to facilitate the transfer of required knowledge to Cluster Group departments’ personnel in order to strengthen the Cluster Group members and internal Oracle (ERP) support capabilities.


Proposed period of contract:

The proposed initial period of contract shall be from contract award to March 31, 2016 and one (1) twelve (12) month option year.

Option year 1:  April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017.
