Request for Standing Offer for Chiller Maintenance Services - AAFC, Lethbridge Research Centre

OBJECTIVE:
The Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), Lethbridge Research Centre at 5403 - 1 Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta has a requirement for a company to provide labour, parts and material, tools and equipment, transportation and supervision for Refrigeration Services and/or decommissioning work on chillers and cooling towers on an "as and when required" basis.  

The Contractor must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via phone or cell number to be on site for any emergency services (such as a total chiller system shutdown) within 1 hour. All other maintenance service requests will be coordinated with the Facility Manager. 

BACKGROUND:  
The Lethbridge Research Centre (LRC) is one of many AAFC Research Centre’s across the country. The LRC consists of a number of multipurpose buildings which facilitate a number of research programs for AAFC.  The Research Centre operates on a five day basis, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30 hours, although some experiments are conducted around the clock over extended periods of time.

SERVICES:
The services required are detailed in the RFSO document, Appendix B.  AAFC anticipates to award a Standing Offer by June 1, 2015 for one (1) year with an option to extend for up to Two (2) additional one (1) year option years. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: 
Companies have the option to view the site prior to April 14, 2015 by pre-arranging an appointment with the Facility Manager.
