The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for TSPS Stream 5, Technical, Engineering and Maintenance Services Stream, the services of one (1) Professional Engineering to provide technical and technological subject matter expertise in the disciplines of engineering metallurgy and materials science.

The services are required for two (2) years, with options to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same conditions.

Number of Contracts: One (1) contract to be awarded.

Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be e-mailed directly, from the DND Point of Contact (DND POC), to the Qualified Supply Arrangement Holders who are being invited to bid on this requirement. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT RFP DOCUMENTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON THE GOVERNMENT ELECTRONIC TENDERING SYSTEM (https://buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders).

DND requires the services of one (1) Senior Professional Engineering. This requirement will be from date of award to two (2) years later, with an irrevocable option for two (2) additional 12-month option periods.

The Quality Engineering Test Establishment QETE has a requirement for an engineer certified as a Senior Professional Engineer in Canada to provide laboratory engineering services in the field of metallurgy of steels and aluminum alloys.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The TSPS Method of Supply is a result of a formal competitive process which was established as a result of extensive consultations with industry. The Method of Supply provides suppliers with an on-going opportunity to become prequalified for participation in future bidding opportunities.
