Abbreviated Proposals for Consulting Services – Recapitalization of Rocky Point Ammunition Jetty, Concept Study, Metchosin, Vancouver Island, BC

Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from consulting firms to provide professional services specific to this Department of National Defence (DND) project, which will be located at CFAD Rocky Point in Metchosin, Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposal (RFAP) is to select a Consultant, who will develop a preferred concept option to enlarge the existing Ammunition Jetty.  The enlargement of the existing jetty will include replacing the utility building, realigning the access road at the jetty, improving the ammunition handling process at the jetty, upgrading perimeter fencing and adding security cameras.
The initial contract Budget Amount to be established for this Agreement will be $400,000.

This opportunity follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.

Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposal document.  The criteria relate to achievements and experience, technical and managerial expertise, and consultant coordination.   The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposals is to select the proponent with the highest total score.
