INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the professional services of an Integrated Logistics Support Technician to provide technical support and life cycle management services in support of Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft. Technical support is required for the Canadian Air Defence Sector Upgrade project and Associated Air Defence Systems.

MANDATORY CRITERIA

The Bidder must comply with all requirements of the Request for Proposal (RFP) and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria:

M1
Demonstrated experience in at least one (1) communications infrastructure initiative during the last ten (10) years, involving the planning, design and installation of perimeter and interior security zoning and back-up power.

M2
Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience in the last ten (10) years in the maintenance of Command, Control and Communication systems.

M3
Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience in the last six (6) years performing three (3) of the following life cycle materiel management activities:
i) Records management;
ii) Cataloguing;
iii) Configuration management;
iv) Preparing technical statements of requirement, draft specifications and purchase descriptions; and
v) Reviewing and updating materiel/equipment specifications.

M4
Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience in the last six (6) years using Visio to create electrical circuits and systems diagrams.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The basis of selection will be the responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price.

DND reserves the right not to award a contract, regardless of the proposals received.

Services similar to those being solicited in the RFP have recently been provided by Valcom Consulting Group Inc. The duration of the contract was five (5) years and its value was $778,054.03.

Where this notice and the RFP differ, the RFP will prevail.
